Former USWNT superstar Mia Hamm recently shared her insights into what the United States Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) needs to do to reclaim its position at the top of the international soccer scene. In an interview with Robin Lundberg of Sports Illustrated, Hamm provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities the team faces following its disappointing elimination in the round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Mia Hamm is not alone in her opinion that the next coaching appointment will be pivotal to the USWNT’s future success.
