Arthur Fernandes became a american soccer fan in 2014 after discovering the USL, and by 2015, he was hooked on MLS. Since 2016, he’s covered CONCACAF teams as a sports journalist. With a degree in Communications and Marketing, Arthur worked at Boca Raton FC when the Florida squad was battling it out in the APSL and NPSL. In Brazil, Arthur worked with Torcedores and Esportes News Mundo. He worked for the Brazilian, American, and Mexican versions of VAVEL before landing at Fansided. Arthur’s a polyglot aiming to speak nine languages by 2030. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he’s got that easy-going beach vibe and a love for Guaraná that only a true carioca can understand.
