MLS Injury Update: Week 5 – Who’s Fit and Who’s Out?

New England Revolution
There are no reported injuries for New England Revolution as they gear up to take on the Portland Timbers this weekend.
New York City FC
No new casualties have been reported for the Blues. Mikey Lopez is still ruled out till the summer after undergoing a surgery to his ankle.

New York Red Bulls
The New York Red Bulls recently confirmed the inclusion of Gideon Baah on the season-ending injury list. On the other hand, forward Gonzalo Veron has resumed training, but is a sure miss for his team’s upcoming game against the Houston Dynamo.

Orlando City SC
Seb Hines recently underwent a surgery to his knee and is expected to be out for six weeks. Rafael Ramos and Kevin Alston are questionable for Orlando City SC’s weekend fixture away to Columbus Crew SC.

Out: Seb Hines (knee injury, May return), Tony Rocha (injured hamstring, April return), Kaka (injured hamstring, end of April return)
Philadelphia Union
The Philadelphia Union is undergoing a mini-injury crisis, with five players being in doubt for their next match against DC United.
Doubtful: Brian Carroll (illness), Charlie Davis (left ankle sprain), Ken Tribbett (right Achilles strain), Jay Simpson (rib injury)
Out: Maurice Edu (left tibia surgery), Joshua Yaro (shoulder surgery, summer return)
Toronto FC
Sebastian Giovinco and Steven Beitashour have recovered and should be certain starters in Toronto FC’s first home game of the season. Ashtone Morgan is the only player who is out for the Reds and he is set to return in the summer.
