Atlanta United will sorely miss the presence of Josef Martinez in their team after the Venezuelan forward was ruled out for 4-6 weeks following a left quad injury he picked up in the recent FIFA World Cup qualifier against Peru. Zach Loyd is still out with a groin problem.

Out: Josef Martinez (left quad injury, May return), Zach Loyd (groin injury)

Chicago Fire

David Arshakyan is the latest casualty for Chicago Fire ahead of a crunch home against the Montreal Impact. The Armenian has a strain on his right thigh which sees him join two other teammates on the treatment table.

Out: David Arshakyan (right thigh strain), John Goossens (injured right ankle, September return), Matt Polster (right knee strain, April return)

Columbus Crew SC

Columbus Crew centre-back Jonathan Mensah injured his right thigh in the recent 3-2 home win against the Portland Timbers. The Ghanian had to undergo an MRI scan to see the extent of the injury and could end up missing a few weeks for the Eastern Conference side.

Out: Jonathan Mensah (right thigh injury), Gaston Sauro (knee injury, 2018 return), Dilly Duka (calf contusion).

The Montreal Impact have multiple injury concerns ahead of their next MLS fixture at the Chicago Fire. Ignacio Piatti will definitely miss out with an injury to his hip/groin and could be joined by Patrice Bernier and Laurent Ciman, who are also major doubts for the match.

Doubtful: Andres Romero (hamstring injury), Shamit Shome (foot injury), Patrice Bernier (calf injury), Laurent Ciman (knee injury)
