FIFA has started the 2026 World Cup ticketing program with phased draws and will only sell the vast majority of the tickets through their official channels. If you want a shot at individual-match, venue or team-specific tickets, start at FIFA’s ticket hub, get a FIFA ID, and go through the draw windows below.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will take place in 16 (USA, Canada, Mexico) host cities in North America from 11 June–19 July 2026. FIFA is conducting the sales in multiple phases (the first being a Visa-only presale draw), will be launching a secure official resale platform, and has already opened some hospitality packages.

The Visa Presale Draw opens at 11 a.m. ET (5 p.m. CET) on Wednesday, September 10, and runs until 11 a.m. ET (5 p.m. CET) on Friday, September 19.

Where & how to buy  2026 World Cup tickets,  step-by-step

  • Start at FIFA.com/tickets — create a FIFA ID.
All official single match and package sales are managed out of FIFA’s ticket site. Create your FIFA account right away, so you can verify your email — you’ll need it to apply.
  • Enter the Visa Presale Draw (first phase) if eligible — application window 10–19 Sept 2025.
The first phase is a randomized Visa Presale Draw: any applicant with a valid Visa card (3-D Secure enabled) can apply for the draw period between 10-19 September 2025.

Successful applicants will be notified starting 29 September 2025, and will be assigned a purchase time slot (time slots begin 1 October 2025).

Note: a slot to buy ,  it does not guarantee specific tickets.

  • Next sales phases:

- Early ticket draw (expected registration window ~27–31 Oct 2025), then an allocation / purchase window in mid-Nov–early Dec.

- Random selection draw after the Final Draw (after 5 Dec) when most match schedules are known

- Closer to the tournament FIFA will release any remaining inventory on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment & limits:

The Visa presale phase is only valid with Visa as your payment method. Read the payment rules and ensure you have 3-D secure turned on for your card.

Also, FIFA limits ticket purchases to 4 tickets per match and a maximum of 40 tickets per household for the tournament.

Hospitality & guaranteed options:

If you want certainty now, FIFA’s official hospitality (Seat + lounge/enhancement) is available through FIFA’s appointed partner (On Location). A new refundable deposit programme has been implemented to enable you to secure priority access to hospitality packages.

  1. Right to Buy / FIFA Collect options:
FIFA Collect and other similar programs (RTBs, reward packs) provide alternative options to the right of ticket purchase. They do not cover the ticket price itself, but can provide priority purchase windows. Only use these through official FIFA channels.
  2. Official resale: FIFA will be providing a secure, official resale channel for eligible ticket holders. Only use that channel if you need to buy/sell second hand tickets, it’s the only resale option FIFA guarantees the security of. Local rules (Mexico, for example) mean resale arrangements may differ by country.

Tips, warnings and quick checklist

  • Don’t buy from unofficial marketplaces. Ticket purchases through unauthenticated third-party websites can be invalidated
  • Create a FIFA ID today, pre-load your payment preferences, and enable the email notifications.
  • If you are travelling internationally, plan both your travel and accommodation in advance — demand will be concentrated on a small number of coastal host cities. Dynamic pricing + limited inventory can make buying late pricey.

How much do the 2026 World Cup tickets cost?

FIFA’s published price band that starts at USD $60 for the cheapest tickets in the group stage and premium tickets at the final that run as high as around USD $6,730. This is a published starting price band so rices can fluctuate.

Also, for the first time at a men’s World Cup, FIFA will apply dynamic (variable) pricing, so the price of many tickets may move up or down over time based on demand and inventory. This means tickets price may vary, between sale phases.

Official hospitality is available. Prices for those packages vary and start with refundable deposits (from around USD $500) and go well into the thousands (for example, some MetLife hospitality packages reportedly exceed ~$3,500 and others go up per person).

Hospitality prices are separate from the face price of match tickets.
