Vancouver Whitecaps FC is back in the playoffs party of the 2023 Audi MLS Cup, and the resurgence of this team is remarkable. With two rounds remaining in the regular season, the Whitecaps have clinched their spot in the playoffs, an achievement that eluded them the previous year.

This milestone is a testament to the resilience and determination of the Canadian team, who not only bounced back from a playoff-less season but also reaffirmed their dominance on the domestic scene by winning the Canadian Championship title in June. This title not only brought joy to the Whitecaps but also a place in the prestigious 2024 Concacaf Champions League, expanding their international presence.

Two players, in particular, have stood out on this journey of success: Scottish star Ryan Gauld and forward Brian White. Together, they have formed an incredibly effective partnership in the final third of the field, accumulating an impressive 26 goals and 17 assists. Gauld, in particular, has emerged as a serious contender for the MLS MVP award, a sign of the impact he has had on the team.
