Lambert’s journey with Phoenix Rising FC from 2017 to 2023 is impressive. During his time with the USL Championship team, he played a key role in qualifying for the playoffs in multiple seasons. His track record of 15 goals and 11 assists in 161 appearances across all competitions attests to his skill and undeniable contribution to the team.

In addition to his club success, Lambert has also excelled representing the Jamaican national team in 25 matches, including a notable participation in this year’s Concacaf Gold Cup. His transfer to Real Salt Lake marks his entry into the select group of Jamaican players who have worn the club’s jersey.

Lambert’s signing is Real Salt Lake’s third notable move this summer, joining the arrivals of forward Cristian Arango and midfielder Nelson Palacio. The team currently holds a promising position in the Western Conference standings and is eagerly awaiting the US Open Cup semifinal against the Houston Dynamo FC after the League Cup break.

The arrival of Kevon Lambert will undoubtedly strengthen Real Salt Lake’s roster, providing more options and quality to the coaches and an additional reason for the club’s fans to be excited about the remainder of the season. With his versatility and experience, Lambert is poised to make his mark in American soccer and help Real Salt Lake pursue success on the national and international stage.
