Charlotte FC signs defender Jere Uronen

Charlotte FC has announced the acquisition of left-back Jere Uronen from Stade Brestois 29, and this signing could have a significant impact on the team during the Leagues Cup. Jere Uronen is a 29-year-old Finnish defender, with previous stints at top-level clubs in Europe, including KRC Genk in Belgium and Helsingborgs IF in Sweden, before joining Stade Brestois 29 in 2021. His experience in international competitions, such as the Europa League, and his participation in Euro 2020 with the Finnish national team, make him a valuable asset for Charlotte FC.

Uronen’s arrival complements the other two signings made by Charlotte during the Secondary Transfer Window, midfielders Scott Arfield and Brecht Dejaegere, both with experience in France’s Ligue 1.
