#5 Alejandro Pozuelo – $9.5 M – Average Points: 2

Toronto FC will likely be adding their number 10,  Alejandro Pozuelo, back to the starting lineup for their upcoming match. The 2020 MLS MVP played 35 minutes off the bench in the last match for his first minutes of the 2021 season after coming off a thigh injury.

The 29-year-old Spaniard will make an immediate impact for Toronto FC and many fantasy managers. Last season he led the league in chances created with 70 and had the highest goals plus assist total with 19.

Toronto FC will battle Orlando City SC in their next match, leaving plenty of opportunities for Pozuelo to accumulate his first goal contributing stats this season. Orlando has the fourth-highest expected goals allowed in the MLS with 8.4.

Pozuelo is currently owned by 8.09% of all MLS fantasy managers.
