MLS Fantasy: 5 sleepers to target for week 8

After a week off of MLS Fantasy, due to the international break, the second quarter of the season is set to bring just as much excitement as the first.

Heading into the second qualifier rounds for the end of the season Fantasy Champions League, we here at ‘MLS Multiplex‘ put together some of the key fantasy takeaways from the first seven weeks:

  • Five of the ten players for most fantasy points thus far are defenders.
  • The home team is averaging 1.54 goals per match, while the away team is averaging 0.96.
  • Carlos Gil currently averages the most fantasy points per match with 10.25 and is the most owned player at 37.5%.

MLS Fantasy Week Eight!

Match week 8 will be an unconventional round of MLS Fantasy. It will begin on Saturday, June 12th, with just one match, Sporting KC vs. Austin FC. The rest of the matches will occur the following weekend beginning on Friday, June 18.

Sporting KC and Austin FC will have a double game week, and CF Montreal will be the team on bye this round.
