Coming in at number four is Danny Wilson. The Scottish defender has had his fair share of play overseas prior to joining the Colorado Rapids in 2018, including a stint at Liverpool for the 2010-2011 English Premier League season.
In the Rapids’ first game this season, Wilson looked impressive, finishing with a 7.6 match rating. The 29-year-old had four interceptions, three tackles, and 13 pressures. He even managed to take two shots, including one being on target.
The Rapids looked extremely disciplined defensively in the 0-0 draw against FC Dallas on opening week. Look for them to earn another shutout this weekend as they will be matched up against the expansion side, Austin FC, for their first home game of the 2021 season.
Wilson is currently only owned by 1.43% of all MLS fantasy managers.
