Jefferson Savarino – Venezuela & Real Salt Lake

His Venezuelan teammate, Jefferson Savarino, is relatively new to the international scene, having only played nine games for his country. However, he already has a goal for his country, and that came in a friendly just last week against the USMNT.

Savarino has become a hit in Salt Lake City, with 16 goals in 67 games for RSL, along with 17 assists. The attacking midfielder can be a real handful for defenders, with a short, sharp dribbling technique and terrific ingenuity in and around the penalty area.

If he gets it going in the Copa America, which he is certainly capable of playing in behind the aforementioned duo of Rondon and Martinez, he could be part of a threatening attacking Venezuelan outfit.
