Raul Ruidiaz – Peru & Seattle Sounders

Raul Ruidiaz signed for the Seattle Sounders last June.

More from MLS Multiplex

In just over four months, he became the team’s top scorer in MLS for the 2018 season. The Peruvian bagged 10 goals in just 14 games for the Rave Green in the second half of the campaign, immediately establishing himself as one of the best goalscorers in all of MLS.

He already has six goals in ten games this term as well and he will be hoping to carry that form into the Copa with Peru. His natural goalscoring instinct is superb. Not blessed with tremendous speed or size, Ruidiaz relied on terrific anticipation, reading of the game, and finishing to score. And in Seattle, he has been amazingly successful.

However, up to now, he has only scored four goals in his 61 caps for his country. He will be looking to boost that this summer.
