2. D.C. United firing on all cylinders
It’s been a great start to the 2019 campaign for D.C. United. Yet to lose this season, they have put on a great display of all-around dominance on the pitch. There is no slow start for the club who shocked the league by turning around their 2018 season and qualifying for the playoffs.
At the moment, D.C. United are one of the early frontrunners to take the Supporters’ Shield and the MLS Cup. Given their form during the latter half of last season once Wayne Rooney arrived and Audi Field opened, you would be brave to bet against them.
Their first match of April against Los Angeles FC will easily be one of the top matches of the month and will pit two of the MLS Cup contenders against one another. This match should determine if they can continue to stay undefeated in April.
