5. Galaxy still facing injuries

The Los Angeles Galaxy are in some trouble. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romain Alessandrini are both expected to miss a second consecutive match. Those two players are integral to the success of the club. Los Angeles were unable to score a goal last week against FC Dallas without either of those players.

The Galaxy’s roster is thin with four potential starters injured: Perry Kitchen and Juninho join Zlatan and Alessandrini on the injury report. Plus the late transfer of Ola Kamara and Giovanni had to be cut before the season started for the Galaxy to become roster compliant.

Amidst the roster trouble, the Galaxy welcome Minnesota United FC. Minnesota have already won two games on the road against conference rivals. The Loons have a good chance to make it three in a row this weekend.
