MLS Injury Update: Week 9 – Who’s Fit and Who’s Out?

New England Revolution
There are no injury concerns for a fit New England Revolution ahead of their trip to Seattle this weekend.
New York City FC
Besides Khiry Shelton and Ronald Matarrita being ruled out of action till June at least, NYCFC possesses a fairly healthy squad.
Out: Khiry Shelton (hamstring injury, June return); Ronald Matarrita (ankle sprain, June return)
New York Red Bulls
Back in training, defender Sal Zizzo and midfielder Mike Grella are both doubts for the New York Red Bulls’ game against Chicago Fire. While the former’s inclusion could be a last minute decision, expect the latter to miss the squad.
Doubtful: Sal Zizzo (calf strain), Mike Grella (knee)
Out: Gideon Baah (broken leg, 2018 return)
Orlando City SC
Kaka, Aja and Ramos have all been listed as day-to-day despite being back in full training. They are doubtful contenders for the upcoming home game against Colorado Rapids, although Kaka could expect to see some action after sitting out of the previous encounter.
Doubtful: Jose Aja (hamstring); Rafael Ramos (hamstring); Kaka (hamstring)
Out: Seb Hines (knee injury, May return)
Philadelphia Union
The Philadelphia Union has no new concerns, although there are four players still on the treatment table.
Out: Warren Creavalle (right calf contusion); Ken Tribbett (left ankle sprain); John McCarthy (concussion); Maurice Edu (left tibia surgery); Joshua Yaro (shoulder surgery, summer return)
Toronto FC
Toronto FC has five players currently nursing injuries, with four of them being defenders.
Out: Drew Moor (cardiac arrhythmia); Chris Mavinga (quad); Jason Hernandez (calf); Clint Irwin (hamstring strain, May return); Ashtone Morgan (foot stress fracture, summer return)
