Third Round Preview – February 25

  • Columbus Crew SC vs. Seattle Sounders FC

The first place Crew SC will take on the winless Sounders in the last round of the tournament. Columbus can clinch the Cup with a win, but Seattle has to be driven to leave South Carolina with a win under their belt, even if a tournament title is out of reach.

Kickoff @ 4:30pm. Watch online at Columbus Crew SC or Seattle Sounders FC‘s website.

  • Charleston Battery vs. Atlanta United FC

Atlanta will be looking to ride the momentum of their 4-2 shocker over Seattle into the final contest of the Carolina Challenge Cup against the Charleston Battery. The Battery have proven to be anything but pushovers in this tournament, however, and look to prove once again that they can hang with the toughest of the MLS.

A win for Atlanta, combined with a draw or loss by Columbus, would give the expansion side the Cup title in their first appearance.

Kickoff @ 7:00pm. Watch online at Charleston Battery or Atlanta United FC‘s website.
