Josh Sargent shines again for Norwich City

If there is one player who knows how to find the net, it is Josh Sargent. The Norwich City striker continues to prove that he is capable of being one of the best attacking options of the United States. After a demoralizing home loss to Preston North End, Sargent retaliated by scoring against Hull City to earn Norwich a precious point. With five goals in the last five games, he is now a game-changing figure in Canaries' bid for the EFL Championship promotion playoffs.

Since joining Norwich, no other player has scored more league goals than him. But his contribution goes beyond statistics — Sargent fights for each ball, places himself well in the box, and continues to develop his game. With the USMNT looking to solidify its attacking assets for future tournaments, Sargent's name cannot be overlooked.

Paxten Aaronson's match-winning goal against PSV Eindhoven

While Sargent thrived in England, Paxten Aaronson also had his name written in the Eredivisie as Utrecht drew 2-2 against PSV Eindhoven. The American midfielder perfectly timed his sprint in the 75th minute when he coasted past two defenders before heading Oscar Fraulo's pass beyond a goalkeeper to see his side take a fleeting lead.

It was Aaronson's sixth Eredivisie and seventh career goal, marking his steady growth in Dutch football. Although Utrecht could not hold the victory, the result heavily influenced the table, preventing PSV from collecting three home points and dropping them to second place, trailing Ajax. Aaronson continues to demonstrate more and more that he is able to perform at this level and could become a key figure for his club, as well as future USMNT squads.

American assists showing useful

Auston Trusty, who played center-back, posted an assist during Celtic's win over Dundee United. He, as was expected, contributed defensively but showed that he has the capacity to make a contribution from attack. Taylor Booth, on for just a few minutes, made his time count with an assist on the goal that helped Twente beat RKC Waalwijk.

Such players have proved that they can still be crucial to the success of their teams even when they do not score. To the USMNT, this translates to having multi-skilled and creative players.

How such performances impact the USMNT

Soccer is gaining popularity in the United States, and USMNT players are emerging to become influential players in top-level leagues. Week after week, American stars simply keep on shining through, be it in scoring goals, creating goals, or being a vital cog of their respective teams.

With players appearing on the field in England, the Netherlands, and Scotland, America is building a generation that appears more competitive than ever.
