The USMNT continue to have gems in their ranks and they are already attracting interest from big clubs around the world. This is the case with Tanner Tessmann, 22, who has attracted interest from Internazionale, the reigning Italian Serie A champions. The midfielder had a spell with FC Dallas in the MLS and joined Venezia in 2021.

Tessmann has already demonstrated his skills with the United States U20 and U23 national teams, where he currently plays, but he has already played two games with the senior team. The midfielder, who is among the 22 most valuable players in the USA, has good positioning and even playing further back contributes to the development of the game, with good passes in all parts of the field, not to mention helping the defensive system in recovering play.
The Alabama player is an absolute starter for Venezia. Inter liked the midfielder's performances in the second division and offered him a deal. However, Tessmann won't be wearing the nerazzurri shirt straight away. The current Italian champions' idea is to loan the player to Venezia themselves, who have returned to the top flight after two seasons.
The loan deal will allow the USMNT youngster to gain first-team experience with plenty of minutes on the pitch. Tessmann will return to the Italian Serie A, where he played with Venezia in 2021/22. Soon after, he could be on his way to Milan to wear the Nerazzurri shirt
Inter's plan is extremely clever. Tessmann will gain more experience by playing difficult games, with the aim of helping Venezia stay in the top flight. He will be able to mature his game and arrive ready to play for the Nerazzurri, and the USMNT will benefit from this development.
