Rose Lavelle is on the verge of reaching the remarkable milestone of 100 appearances for the US Women's National Team. A native of Cincinnati, she will become the 43rd player in USWNT history to achieve this feat if she takes the field this Tuesday, June 4th, at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, against South Korea. She would be the second player to reach this century mark this year, joining goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher.

After recovering from a leg injury, Lavelle came back strong and demonstrated her importance on the field in the first game against South Korea, providing a crucial assist during the match. Despite playing only 29 minutes, the midfielder displayed good control of the game. She knew how to find the right teammate, with a 96% pass accuracy rate, helping create dangerous situations, including providing an assist for Swanson's goal with a good opening from the right.

Her consistency and contribution to the USWNT do not go unnoticed, with 24 goals and 24 assists. Lavelle not only stands out for her offensive game but also for her vision and precision in passing. Her ability to see angles and create opportunities makes her a creative and unpredictable player for opponents, in addition to having a good mid-range shooting ability.

As she prepares to reach the 100-game milestone, Lavelle needs to impress the new coach, Emma Hayes. Despite being a great player, the midfielder is competing for a spot in the roster for the Paris Olympics, which begin on July 26th. If she continues to perform well, it is likely that the NJ/NY Gotham player will secure a place in the 18-player list, especially considering her high rate of successful passes per game, which exceeds 80%, and her performance in the final third of the field, representing a valuable addition to the team.
