The soccer-club is co-owned by Manchester United and Real Madrid legend David Beckham, who knows a thing or two about what makes a great soccer club. Beckham has kept a keen eye on the European game since his retirement and has influenced the club to bring in some pretty big names.

Everybody knows about the talk of the town, Lionel Messi. The GOAT soccer player, fresh off winning the World Cup two years ago, will play his second regular season with Inter Miami, alongside some great company in Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. For sure, the Inter Miami roster is the most star-studded in MLS.

One big reason why Inter Miami could be "screwed" ahead of the 2024 MLS season

According to a report by The Athletic, which is considered to be one of the most reliable sources of news, Inter Miami must shed their roster to avoid exceeding their allocation. The situation is described as "dire" within the report and it could even see the likes of DeAndre Yedlin, Sergii Kryvstov, Gregore, Jean Mota and Robert Taylor be moved on.

MLS fans could see this coming. Although it's great seeing some of the biggest names in soccer move to MLS as it adds to the viewership and expansion of the league, the rules are put in place for a reason.

MLS is unique in its approach to avoid situations like this arising, meaning every team within their respective conference divisions have an opportunity to finish high.
