June is here in full force, and with it, the international football season explodes with excitement. The transfer window opens, friendlies warm up the atmosphere, and the biggest competitions in the world are about to begin: Euro 2024, Copa América 2024, and the Paris 2024 Olympics. And at the center of this whirlwind of excitement, the MLS stands out as a breeding ground for talent ready to shine on the most prestigious stages in the world.

More than 100 players from the North American league have been called up to represent their national teams. From experienced veterans like superstar Lionel Messi and Olivier Giroud to young talents like Facundo Torres, the MLS will be represented by some of the biggest names in world football. This ends up attracting visibility to the league, which out of the 29 teams, only one team had no representative: Sporting Kansas City.

If there was a lack in one, there was plenty in others, as was the case with Atlanta United, with seven players called up, but no one beats Minnesota United, with nine. Orlando City and Philadelphia Union are other teams that had many players selected, with 8 each.

Whether it's to win aerial duels, like Walker Zimmerman and show leadership in the US defense, not to mention that he has barely been dribbled past in the league and not at all. That's right, the MLS also has many national and international talents, in a league that is growing every year.
