Jane Campbell expressed her joy at the renewal, highlighting the support of her teammates throughout her career: "Eight years later, I've spent my entire career in Houston. I want to thank my teammates, past and present, for their support and for making me the player I am today," said Campbell. She also mentioned the club's evolution and her desire to be part of executing the vision of the club's new leadership.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper has been a defensive pillar for the Dash, being named NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year in 2023. Her stellar campaign included leading the league in saves and going eight games without conceding a goal, both a personal and club record. Campbell also led the league with 93 saves, helping the Dash to one of the best defensive campaigns in NWSL history with just 18 goals conceded in 22 games.

Alex Singer, the Dash's general manager, praised Campbell: "Jane is an integral part of the Dash and has proven that she is one of the best players in the league. Her work ethic, professional approach and commitment to the development of the club are world class."

Campbell recorded 162 appearances for the Dash in all competitions, amassing 14,602 minutes and 35 games without conceding a goal, the fifth highest mark in league history. The goalkeeper has a good save rate this season in the NWSL, at 76%, with 64 saves made since the start of the league. With his performance and contribution to the Dash, Campbell played one game as a starter in goal for the USWNT in the games in South Korea.
