Excitement grips Chicago as the Red Stars prepare for a week of events culminating in the historic "Red Stars Take Over Wrigley Field" match against Bay FC on June 8th at Wrigley Field.

A Week of Celebration and Engagement: The festivities kick off on June 4th with Red Stars defender Tatumn Milazzo throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the Crosstown Series game between the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. On June 5th, midfielder Cari Roccaro and forward Ally Schlegel take over the bar at Murphy's Bleachers, offering giveaways, raffles, and a chance to win tickets to the Red Stars match and the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup.
Wrigley Field Transforms into a Family Fun Zone: On June 8th, following the league break for FIFA international play, Wrigley Field transforms into a family fun zone. The Red Stars' Family Fan Festival at Gallagher Way features a live DJ, giveaways, a photo booth, food and drinks, face painting, and more. The excitement builds with a live viewing of the NWSL match between New Jersey/New York Gotham FC and Angel City FC.
Exclusive Fan Fest for Early Arrivals: For fans who arrive early, the Chicago Red Stars Fan Fest at Gallagher Way begins at 4:00 p.m. CT, featuring live music, giveaways, raffles, exclusive merchandise, and the unique opportunity to welcome the players as they walk from the Toyota Highlander Lot to Wrigley Field. Proceeds from the Fan Fest will benefit three organizations: Beyond the Ball, Girls in the Game, and Girls Inc.

Not to mention the fact that Red Star are within the qualifying zone for the NWSL quarter-final playoffs. We're only at the start of the competition, but the crowd will be able to give the team a boost to get the three points.
