Ratings Week for EA SPORTS FC 26 is rolling out league by league. EA says the published table is the Gold/Silver/Bronze player items available at launch and is ordered first by overall rating, then by subjective factors tied to real-world performance. The game launches September, 26, 2025.

- Heung-Min Son (LAFC) — 85 OVR.
- Rodrigo De Paul (Inter Miami) — 84 OVR.
- Thomas Müller (Vancouver Whitecaps) — 80 OVR.
- Sergio Busquets (Inter Miami) — 80 OVR.
- Riqui Puig (LA Galaxy) — 80 OVR.

The list shows two things. First, three big summer signings (Messi, Son, De Paul) are in the top tier and rather than established MLS players.
Second, several players who you’d expect to be higher based on name recognition : Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba (78), Hugo Lloris (77) , are lower than expected.
Riqui Puig’s placement at 80, ahead of Suárez at 79, is one of the biggest surprises.
What the ratings do — and don’t — mean
EA’s official rating list for FC 26 reflects the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Player Items available in Ultimate Team at launch and nothing more. It doesn’t include Heroes, Icons, Campaign Player Items or any cards added after.
Live form or in-season performance from other game modes won’t affect these ratings. This is the base snapshot. So real-world exploits, standout seasons, future items will be added later, not in this launch.
