The MLS has some real talent in the league right now, but the players who have gone abroad to make an impact on a big scale cannot be ignored, either.

The USMNT players have tried to move to Europe as much as possible so that they can improve themselves as players and show up in the biggest competitions in the world.

There are more than just five overseas ballers, but we are only going to touch on five who seem the best and most talented from this generation right now.

The 5 greatest USMNT players currently playing outside of MLS

Christian Pulisic

The first name on everyone's lips is Pulisic. Every time someone talks about a USMNT player, the first name is usually Pulisic. He has been at the highest level in football for a fair few years now.

First, he was important at Chelsea for a while. Then, after moving to Milan, he became an important player there as well.

It is good to see such a hard-working player drive out of the US in search of a bigger legacy and actually securing it as well.

Good on Pulisic for what he has achieved so far, and he has a few years left to achieve some more success.

Antonee Robinson

One of the team's very best players, Robinson is also one of the athletic in his position in the entirety of European football. Playing for Fulham, Robinson is just a really good player to watch, and he will keep improving once he fully returns from injury.

He was one of Fulham's very best players last season, registering 10 assists. So, the 27-year-old will be itching to return to full-time action.

Johnny Cardoso

One of the most technically gifted midfielders in Spain, Cardoso had a brilliant season with Real Betis last time around. He was so involved in the build-up for Betis, and was one of their best players in their brilliant run in the UEFA Conference League, reaching the final of the competition.

He has since moved to Atlético Madrid, the third biggest team in Spain. So, Cardoso is doing really, really well for himself. He is one of the best players from the nation, and he will likely improve even further as he tries to achieve greater heights.

He is only 24, so he has a lot of time on his side at the moment.

Weston McKennie

McKennie is one of the best midfielders the USMNT have right now. He has been at Juventus for a while now and has looked like a very solid option in midfield. Sometimes, though, he has shown inconsistencies, but he is, in general, a really good option to have, especially for USMNT, where he is easily considered one of the main pillars of the team.

There are things he needs to improve on, for sure. But McKennie is a very effective midfielder who is great with the ball. He tries to do a lot of things, and once he gets the consistency side of things all sorted out, he will be looked at as one of the most underrated midfielders in Europe.

Tyler Adams

Adams gets injured a fair few times, but when he is fit, he is a brilliant midfielder, and there are hardly many better than him in the whole country.

He is one of the most underrated midfielders in the Premier League, and of course, injuries do play a huge role in that, but he is so tidy in possession and extremely hard working out of it, that he must be noticed by the people watching.

Adams is a brilliant player, one who will be important to this team for a few years.
