The No-Hopers

13: Toronto FC (6-10-18), 28 points

The post-Greg Vanney era is off to a rough start in the six.

His replacement, Chris Armas, was sacked after 15 games. A stretch that included only two wins and was capped off by a 7-1 thrashing at the hands of DC United.

Toronto has many moves to rejuvenate this ageing roster if they are to get back into a playoff spot next year.

14: FC Cincinnati (4-8-22), 20 points

Much like Ole Gunnar Solskjær, this team reminds you each week that it is out of its depth (but like the Norwegian, they’re going to have a little winter break).

Once again, Cincy finds themselves in the top ten for the fewest points in an MLS season. Even though they find themselves making unwanted history again, their goals per game increased from .52 to 1.08 compared to last season.

Progress right?
