MLS Fantasy match week 9 was nothing short of surprises as 25 of the 27 teams had a double game week.

We saw multiple upsets and many changes in the league standings. However, in terms of fantasy, many of the normal stars prevailed.

Carlos Gil had a 17 point fantasy match against the New York Red Bulls. Chicharito became the first player to score ten goals this season and had 13 fantasy points against the San Jose Earthquakes.

MLS Fantasy Week Ten!

As we head into week ten, New York City FC will rest as they have their first bye of the season, and no teams will have a double game week.

Austin FC will host the Portland Timbers on Thursday night to start the week, while the remainder of the matches will occur on Saturday and Sunday.

It is also important to note that many of the stars who were playing in the European Championship and Copa America will be back in training this week, as their country has been knocked out of the tournament.
