#2 Jonathan dos Santos – $7.4 M –  Average Points: 4.8

Jonathan dos Santos is the captain of the most explosive team in the league this season, the LA Galaxy. He does not have the highest ceiling in terms of scoring fantasy points, but his ability to earn bonus points from the central midfield position makes him a consistent option week in and week out.

The Mexican international averages 50 passes a game and has already earned four bonus points in ball recoveries from the midfield this season. In the last three weeks, he has scored six fantasy points or higher and even scored a goal against LAFC in week four.

The Galaxy will be on the road against the Portland Timbers this weekend. The Timbers are still dealing with multiple key injuries and have given up eight goals in their five games this season.

Dos Santos is currently only owned by 2.74% of all MLS fantasy managers.
