MLS Fantasy: 5 sleepers to target for Week 5
#1 Emanuel Reynoso – $9.1 M – Average Points: 6.00
Bringing home the number one spot for MLS Fantasy sleepers in week five is Emanuel Reynoso of Minnesota United.
Many have already had a love-hate relationship with Reynoso this fantasy season. However, he was able to earn his first goal of the season over this past weekend from a beautiful free-kick.
Due to Minnesota United’s early struggles this season, we saw them line up with a different starting eleven than we have come to expect for this past weekend game. Reynoso was pushed out to the left-wing and not in his typical number 10 role.
That said, it will likely not impact his influence on the game. He still controls the show in Minnesota and is the man who takes all the free kicks and penalties.
Minnesota United has a double game week where both matches will take place on their home pitch. They will line up against Vancouver on Wednesday and then battle against Dallas FC on Saturday night.
Regardless of whether you believe Minnesota will earn their first victory of the season in week five, Reynosa will likely put together a display of brilliance in one of the two matches for the Loons.
Reynoso is currently owned by 9.57% of all MLS fantasy managers.
