#5 Yeferson Soteldo – $7.5 M –  Average Points: 1.00

The first MLS fantasy sleeper this week is Toronto FC’s designated player, Yeferson Soteldo. The Venezuelan international recently made his MLS debut on Saturday when he was subbed on in the 56th minute.

Soteldo is known for his impeccable technical ability and vision on the field. The 23-year-old is coming over from the top league in Brazil, Série A, where he recorded 14 goals and 10 assists during his two years with Santos.

He will be a much-needed piece for Toronto FC’s offense, who is currently in the bottom five of the league in goals with four.

Soteldo only has a total of 34 minutes to his name in the MLS. Still, given that Toronto FC has a double-game week starting with a home game against the newly branded Columbus SC on Wednesday and then at Orlando SC on Saturday, the new star of Canada soccer will likely put together a full 90 minutes in one of the games.

Soteldo is currently only owned by 0.61% of all MLS fantasy managers.
