# 1 Christian Gutierrez – $5.5M – Average Points: 10.50

Bringing home the number one spot for MLS Fantasy sleepers in week three is Christian Gutierrez of the Vancouver White Caps.  Guiterrez remains at a $5.5 million price tag despite an average of 10.5 fantasy points through the first two weeks this season.

The Canadian-born left-back has earned an assist in both of his matches this season and has played a significant role in the backline for the White Caps, who have had a decent start to the season defensively.

Gutierrez may be in store for a shut-out bonus this week as the Vancouver White Caps prepare to battle the Colorado Rapids at home. The Rapids have only a 0.03 goals per shot rating this season, ranking them in the bottom third of the league.

It is also important to note that regardless of if Gutierrez can pull off the shut-out this weekend, his low listing price tag and his 21 total fantasy points will lead to a value boost in your salary.

Gutierrez is currently only owned by 13.5% of all MLS fantasy managers.
