# 3 Cade Cowell – $4.9M – Average Points: 7.50

For the second week in a row, we have a 17-year-old make the list. However, Cade Cowell of the San Jose Earthquakes played with the poise of a veteran striker last week, slotting home a goal and earning an assist by providing an excellent through ball to play his teammate in on the counter.

This season the San Jose Earthquakes have had two polar opposite performances. They looked like a  below mediocre team on the road against the Houston Dynamo in week one, but then came out in week two and looked like a team that could be fighting for a home-field playoff game as they defeated FC Dallas 3-1 at home.

With the Earthquakes playing on their home field again this weekend, expect for them to play more like their performance of week two and less like their performance in week one. It is also likely that we will see another strong game out of Cade Cowell this weekend, as San Jose is up against DC United, a team who had the worst expected goal difference in the league last season at -15.1.

Cowell is currently only owned by 5.47% of all MLS fantasy managers.
