# 1 Javier Hernandez – 8M

At number one our MLS Fantasy Sleeper for week one is none other than Javier Hernandez, better known as Chicharito!

Chicarito is the most expensive player on this list, with a listing price of $8 M. However, if Chicarito were to start the year last season at this price tag, everyone would have believed it was a mistake.

The Mexican striker was extremely disappointing in his first season with the LA Galaxy. Still, if you have followed his career, you would know that his up and downs from season to season are actually quite normal, and he has made it clear to everyone that he is looking for redemption.

During his Wednesday night press conference, the 32-year-old had this to say when asked about the upcoming season:I don’t have a word to tell you how motivated I am” via Ari Liljenwall

The LA Galaxy will open up against Miami FC this weekend, who was in the bottom half of the league in terms of goals against, 35. Meaning that Chicarito will have a chance to prove his doubters wrong from opening day.

Last season, Chicharito collected 22 fantasy points and is currently only owned by 5.04% of all MLS fantasy managers.
