# 5 Dave Romney – $5.5M

Nashville SC Center back Dave Romney may not get the same attention as his teammate Walker Zimmerman, who won the 2020 MLS Defender of the Year, but he has turned into one of the league’s top center backs. Romney’s price of 5.5M price tag compared to Zimermman’s 7M gives him incredible value.

The 27-year-old started every match for Nashville SC in 2020 and even put up some points on the attacking side of the ball. Romney finished with one goal and two assists during his 2020 campaign.

According to Tenneseean.com, Romney forced a turnover of possession on 36% of his defensive pressures and completed 85% of his passing, which ranked him second in the MLS. Romney was also third in total clearances last season, behind his teammate Zimmerman and Jonathan Mensah of the Columbus Crew with 104.

With Nashville up against FC Cincinnati in week one,  a team that finished with a season-low of 12 goals, Romney will likely provide you with some Fantasy bonus point for a shutout.

Last season, Romney collected 110 fantasy points and is currently only owned by 6.78% of all MLS fantasy managers.
