The USMNT cruised to a 4-1 win over Jamaica in an international friendly at Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Austria. Here are the player ratings from Thursday’s win.
The United States Men’s National Team wasn’t at their best, but they still managed to get their first win of the week as they now travel to Belfast for a meeting with Northern Ireland on Sunday.

Sergiño Dest opened the scoring in the 34th minute before substitute Brenden Aaronson made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute. Jamaica pulled one back through Jamal Lowe, but the US answered with a pair of late goals from Sebastian Lletget.
Here are the USMNT player ratings from Thursday’s 4-1 win over Jamaica.
Goalkeeper
Zack Steffen- 5
Started the game poorly with a bad touch to concede a corner kick. Went on to make a couple of decent stops and couldn’t do much with the goal he conceded.
Defense
Sergiño Dest- 8
Scored a brilliant goal in the first half. Looked very comfortable at left-back, which is where his future looks to be with the USMNT.
John Brooks- 7
Very good performance. Was dominant in the air and was calm with the ball at his feet.
Aaron Long- 6
Solid performance, but not anything special from his 45 minutes on the pitch.
Reggie Cannon- 5
Not his best display. Got booked and defended too loosely on Jamaica’s goal. Still, I like his future with the USMNT.
Midfield
Sebastian Lletget- 7
Quietly had another impressive performance. Scored two goals late to secure the win. If nothing else, he’s a player that can be plugged in at multiple positions and will be good depth for the USMNT.
Kellyn Acosta- 6
No bad giveaways. No outstanding moments. Solid outing.
Yunus Musah- 6
Not quite as effective as previous performances, but still had a decent showing. Certainly seems to have a future in the first team sooner rather than later.
Forwards
Christian Pulisic- 5
Played the opening 45 minutes and disappointed. Found himself in some good moments, but was very sloppy overall.
Josh Sargent- 7
Didn’t score, but certainly impressed. Provided the assist on the second goal. Put himself in great spots.
Gio Reyna- 7
Similar to Pulisic, he found himself in some good positions and didn’t make the most of them.
Substitutes
Brenden Aaronson- 7
Talk about an immediate impact sub. Should have been awarded an assist, but Gio Reyna couldn’t convert his chance. Seconds later, he found him a goal after combining with Josh Sargent.
Chris Richards- 5
Couldn’t make up his mind on the Jamaica goal. Big mistakes like that can cost you games.
Antonee Robinson- 5
Didn’t get back quick enough, opened up a bigger chance that Jamaica capitalized on.
Nicholas Gioacchini- 7
Another good showing. Didn’t show on the scoresheet, but had a good display.
Luca De La Torre- 7
Had the assist on Lletget’s goal in the 90th minute.
Jordan Siebatcheu- 6
Didn’t have much to do in the final eight minutes.
