By Harry Mail
LA Galaxy are hoping for a better showing in 2021 under the guidance of new boss Greg Vanney. It has been an interesting past week or so for them. Here is a round-up of news:
LA Galaxy linked with winger
The Galaxy are believed to be interested in LASK winger Husein Balic, according to journalist Tom Bogert. The Whites are certainly in need of some more firepower in their ranks and it will be interesting to see if they make a move for him.
Balic, who is 24 years old, has spent his whole career to date playing in his native Austria but has been attracting interest from all over the world over recent times. He joined LASK in 2019 and has since become a key player for the Austrian Bundesliga outfit.

Jason Bent has joined LA Galaxy coaching staff, as announced by their official club website. The Canadian who worked under Vanney at former club Toronto has now reunited with him in California.
The former Colorado Rapids midfielder finished his playing career with a spell in England at Plymouth Argyle and spent three years with the Pilgrims before forging a career for himself in coaching.
Dan Calichman checks in
Also following Vanney and Bent through the entrance door at Galaxy is the experienced coach Dan Calichman. He will be looking forward to a fresh challenge and has taken up an assistant coach role.
Calichman, who is 52 years old, is a useful individual to take on board for the MLS outfit and will benefit them going into next season. He is a familiar face to Galaxy fans having two years playing for them from 1996 to 1998. He hung up his boots in 2001 and has since coached at New York Cosmos, Chivas USA and Toronto.
