The goals continue to come for Matthew Hoppe in the Bundesliga. A week after scoring a hat-trick, the United States Men’s National Team eligible player registered another goal for Schalke. This time he was able to score against Eintracht Frankfurt in a 3-1 loss for Schalke. Hoppe scored an equalizing goal in the 29th minute right after Frankfurt had scored just a minute earlier.

Hoppe’s fourth goal of the season for Schalke shows the 19-year-old striker is capable of reaching a double-digit goal total this season. He has done very well in his last two appearances for the German club which should lead to continued playing time for the first team. His goal against Frankfurt now ranks him as the top USMNT eligible player in the Bundesliga in terms of goals scored this season.
