Inter Miami: Two goalkeepers they could target instead of Sergio Romero

A look at two goalkeepers who Inter Miami should sign if they miss out on Sergio Romero
Inter Miami have been linked with a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero over recent times. It is no secret that the MLS side wants to bring in another ‘keeper ahead of the 2021 season. However, the Argentina international could now stay in England with Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion eyeing a move for him, according to a report by the Daily Mail. Here are two goalkeepers Miami could look at instead.
Willy Caballero, Chelsea
Could Diego Alonso’s side just turn to another Argentinian? The veteran stopper is believed to be open to a move to America and would be ideal for Miami. Caballero, who is 37 years old, isn’t guaranteed game time at Chelsea anymore and wants one last hurrah somewhere before hanging up his gloves.
The ‘keeper would come with some pedigree having also played for the likes of Malaga and Manchester City in the past. He is certainly someone MLS clubs need to monitor over the next few weeks.
Fabricio, Fulham
Sticking in London, Miami could also look at Fabricio from Fulham. He is way down the pecking order at Craven Cottage and could jump at the chance to leave this winter. The Cottagers signed him in July 2018 from Besiktas but he has struggled to make an impact there.
They were relegated to the Championship in his first season at the club and they then loaned him to Real Mallorca for the last campaign. Fabricio, a former Spain youth international, would do a job in MLS and has played over 200 games in his career having also had spells at Deportivo, Real Valladolid, and Real Betis in the past.
