Toronto FC Option 5: Jakub Kaminski

Jakub Kaminski is an 18-year-old left-winger, right-winger, and right-back in the Ekstraklasa (Polish top division). He’s currently valued at three million on Transfermarkt and has been at Lech Poznan since he joined the club’s academy in 2015.

This season, he’s played 13 league matches scoring one goal and one assist. Kaminski has also played four Europa League Qualifying matches where he scored two goals and one assist, and three Europa League matches where he has picked up one more assist.

Last season, Kaminski played 24 games in the top division scoring four goals and five assists. He also played six games last year in the Polish third tier where he scored two goals and one assist. He’s a similar player to Grüll in that he is relatively cheap, but Kaminski is a bit younger. At 18, he still possesses a ton of promise and could be a player Toronto flip in the future.

Conclusion

It is, VERY, unlikely that I have listed the player Toronto will be bringing in for a variety of reasons. However, I’d be shocked if a handful, if not most, of the players I’ve mentioned aren’t currently on Toronto’s radar, or been considered, by the club to be TFC’s next DP.

There are still countless players who could be Toronto’s DP, and I’m interested to hear who you think that player might be. Do you think Toronto might bring in and what you think of the list I’ve compiled? Let me know in the comments or on Twitter who you’d like Toronto to sign and if you would like any of the players on this list to be Toronto’s next DP.
