USMNT striker Nicholas Gioacchini scored his fourth goal of the season for Caen
It’s shaping up to a big season for Nicholas Gioacchini at Caen. The United States Men’s National Team striker recorded his fourth goal of the Ligue 2 season against Dunkerque. Gioacchini scored Caen’s second goal of the match in their 3-2 victory. With four goals in 14 appearances, the 20-year-old striker has already doubled his total from last season when he registered two goals in 16 appearances.
DeAndre Yedlin gets into the starting 11 for Newcastle United
One of the other big stories from his past weekend was DeAndre Yedlin returning to the starting 11 for Newcastle United. This was the first time this season the right back made an appearance in Newcastle’s starting lineup in the Premier League.
Yedlin went the distance in this one as he played the entire match in the 1-1 draw with Fulham. He finished with three interceptions, three clearances, and one key pass. Fellow USMNT player Antonee Robinson was also involved in this match as he played all 90 minutes for Fulham. Robinson registered three clearances and one key pass.

Tyler Adams played all 90 minutes for RB Leipzig in a scoreless draw with FC Köln. Adams completed 86% of his passes and registered two shot-creating actions. Josh Sargent played the entire match for Werder Bremen in their 1-0 win over Mainz. Sargent registered two shots, both of which were on target.
Weston McKennie started and played 75 minutes for Juventus in a 4-0 victory over Parma Calcio in Serie A action. McKennie completed 95% of his passes along with two key passes and two clearances.
In Spain, Sergino Dest played the entire match for Barcelona in their 2-2 draw with Valencia. The right back registered three tackles, one shot-creating action, and one block. Fellow USMNT player Yunus Musah was in the starting 11 for Valencia but was subbed off in the 41st minute after picking up an injury.
Joel Soñora picked up an assist for Talleres de Cordoba in their 1-1 draw with Atletico Tucuman. Timothy Weah made an appearance in Lille’s big match against Paris-Saint Germain. He entered in the 61st minute and went on to complete 90% of his passes in the scoreless draw with PSG.
Matt Miazga played all 90 minutes in Anderlecht’s 1-0 loss to Sporting Charleroi. Miazga finished with one shot, two interceptions, and two clearances. Reggie Cannon played all 90 minutes for Boavista in their 1-1 draw with Paco de Ferreira. He finished with two tackles and three clearances.
