Orlando City striker Daryl Dike is wanted by Club Brugge

Orlando City’s Daryl Dike is on the radar of Club Brugge. The Belgian side are interested in luring the striker to Europe this winter, as covered by Transfermakrt.us. Oscar Pareja’s side could face a real battle to keep him in MLS in January with the Belgian First Division champions identifying him as a target.

Dike, who is 20 years old, is being tipped for a bright future in the game after breaking into Orlando’s first-team and they will be desperate to keep him at the club in the long-term. However, a potential switch to play in Europe could turn his head if Brugge’s interest is serious.

The youngster played for Oklahoma FC and Virginia Cavaliers before Orlando swooped to sign him last January. He has since scored eight goals in 22 games for the Florida-based team and played a key part in them getting into the playoffs this past year. The forward’s form hasn’t gone unnoticed and he’s being linked with a departure after only 12 months with the Lions.

Dike is a young, powerful striker who has proven he can score goals, which makes him an attractive proposition for Club Brugge. He was called up to the United States national team last month and is causing a real fuss. Orlando will be praying he leads the line for them in 2021 but may have to bat away interest from the Belgians champions.
