The MLS Cup is on the horizon with just one round of matches remaining. What does your team need on Decision Day?

Going into the final day of the regular-season, the top eight sides in the Western Conference have been secured, although there could be movement inside that top eight for home ties in the playoffs and so on. Meanwhile, in the Eastern Conference, there are still two spots available. However, five teams remain in the hunt for those playoff places.

Elsewhere, there is a race for the No.1 seed in both Conferences. Philadelphia and Toronto are level on PPG ahead of the final day, while in the West, it’s a three-horse race. Sporting Kansas City, Portland Timbers, and Seattle Sounders all have the chance to finish the regular season as the No.1. seed.

Further down, there will be fights for home ties in both Conferences, while three teams in the Eastern Conference will all try to lay claim on a definitive place in the last eight in their final matches.

Five teams go into ‘Decision Day’ without any hope of making it to the playoffs. Vancouver Whitecaps, LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, and Houston Dynamo are all out of it in the Western Conference, while FC Cincinnati are the only side in the East who have been eliminated from post-season contention.

Those five teams will still play on ‘Decision Day’ on Sunday, but their only aims now will be to try and stop other teams from reaching what they are looking for on the final day of the regular season.

So what are the key battles this weekend, and what does your team require to move up the standings ahead of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs? Will a draw be enough for your team or do they have to get all three points? Can your team afford a slip-up if other results go their way? Find out here…
