The Bundesliga duo of Gio Reyna and Chris Richards highlighted USMNT players abroad
A fantastic performance from Gio Reyna helped lift Borussia Dortmund to a 4-0 victory over Freiburg. The 17-year-old American registered three assists in the win and was one of the best players on the pitch. His precision passing was on full display as he fed the ball to Dortmund’s star striker Erling Braut Haaland on two occasions. His third assist came off a set-piece as he delivered a perfect ball to Emre Can from a corner kick.
This performance from Reyna is yet another indication he is ready to make the jump to the USMNT. He is in very good form and is only improving during his time at Dortmund. The time has to be drawing near for when he makes his USMNT debut. Reyna is a future star in the making.
