Already in 2020, he’s put together multiple impressive performances. Most notably, he scored four goals against the Los Angeles Galaxy and left the MLS is Back Tournament with a total of seven goals.

Due to his consistent offensive production, he’s emerged as one of the top young players in MLS. He’s stood out from the rest of the players that are under the age of 23 in the league.

A future top league player

At only 22, Rossi has already proven he can perform at a high level in MLS. With so many years likely left in his career, it would seem he will be looking to take on a new challenge in the near future.

Transfer rumors have surfaced in the past that Rossi was attracting interest from European clubs but nothing came to fruition. However, it seems only a matter of time until the right fit comes along for Rossi to make his exit from the league.

With recent former MLS players finding success with clubs in Europe’s top leagues, Rossi is going to be the next player to make an impact at the top levels of the game. At the moment, he’s certainly capable of joining a mid-table club in most of Europe’s top leagues such as the Bundesliga or Serie A.

As the season continues, LAFC supporters and fans of the league alike should enjoy every Rossi performance they get to witness as this will likely be his last full season in MLS.
