1. More work to be done

Despite showing some glimpses of promise, it’s very important to remember that Chicago Fire are still in the midst of a rebuild.

Everything changed this past offseason. They got a new owner, general manager, and head coach to help things off the field, and even changed their logo and home stadium as well. On the field, the Men In Red got three new DP’s while also bringing in a number of additional signings.

With all that happening at once, early struggles were to be expected. It takes time to rebuild a winning program and fans need to be patient. Trying to rush an extremely difficult and lengthy process is far from ideal. Wicky, his staff, and the entire organisation need time.

Until they have the time to properly assess their work, there is only one thing that the Chicago Fire can do: trust the process.
