1. Who makes the most of their chances?

There is no question that Sporting KC are the better attacking team, but they haven’t been as ruthless as they should have been in the MLS is Back Tournament thus far.

Leading the front line for SKC, Alan Pulido and Khiry Shelton will need to test inexperienced goalkeeper Thomas Hasal, who had some shaky moments in his first start with the Whitecaps in their 2-0 win over Chicago.

Conversely, the Whitecaps have been clinical on the counter-attack. Led by Yordy Reyna, they will use the wide areas to exploit SKC’s weakness in those positions on the break, but when they get their chances, they cannot afford to be wasteful.

While Vancouver don’t have their full complement of players, they are coming off a big morale-boosting win over the Chicago Fire. If they can continue to ride that wave and take their chances, they could find their way into the next round.
