1. MLS is Back and unpredictable as ever

What a way to bring back Major League Soccer. The World-Cup style format has brought surprises, favorites and incredible games throughout This game was no exception.

After a lengthy weather delay, the game sprang to life after it was noted how dull morning fixtures were. Yordy Reyna came through for the Whitecaps with a goal and an assist off the bench to conclude a group stage full of shocks and surprises.

From Atlanta crashing out with no points and no goals to LAFC smashing the Galaxy, to incredible comebacks, this tournament has had a bit of everything. And we’ve only finished the group stages. Orlando City won their group, Vancouver and FC Cincinnati are through. Montreal are also through. Atlanta are out and Seattle only just squeaked through.

Perhaps unlike any other league in the world, this league is entirely unpredictable. And this tournament has been as unpredictable as any. MLS really is back.
