1. Blanco showing his class

Since arriving from Argentine club San Lorenzo, Sebastian Blanco has been one of the best players in MLS that nobody talks about. His goal and assist in the second half paved the way for the Portland Timbers’ 2-1 victory over the LA Galaxy and was another showcase of his quality.

Teammate Steve Clark, who saved Javier Hernandez’s penalty, knows all about the Timbers’ number 10. Speaking to reporters this week, he said:

"“He’s one of the most impressive players I’ve ever been around in any of my 12 seasons. I think that he’s definitely underrated and to see him day in and day out and the way he performs, it’s really special. He’s just a phenomenal player. He’s somebody who wants to win every day in training and he’s a great teammate. That’s also part of the equation here. He’s a real complete package.”"
