1. Can Chicharito be the difference-maker?

Javier Hernandez finally broke his MLS scoring duck against the Portland Timbers. It took him three matches to register his first goal, with questions beginning to be asked about his effectiveness in MLS.

However, while he has had not inspired the same instant impact that Ibrahimovic had when he arrived at the Galaxy there are reasons to be optimistic that Chicharito can continue to produce. With his first goal out of the way, he can now focus on being a consistent goalscorer, something he has proven to be throughout his career.

The Galaxy have struggled to find goals so far this season and they appear to need their new Designated Player to carry the weight of the offensive production. Cristian Pavon has been the only other goalscorer for the Galaxy thus far and looks to be the primary offensive spark in the team. Creativity has been lacking.
